Future Processing was founded in 2000 by technology entrepreneur Jaroslaw Czaja. From the start, the company concentrated on developing high-quality custom-made applications and employed only engineering or computer science graduates holding masters degrees, who are passionate about programming. The first employee is still with the company today.
In 2002 Future Processing branched out into the UK market. Our first British contract was to design automatic facial recognition software. Since then we have experienced steady growth in the UK market. Relationships with our UK customers built up rapidly, leading to a range of new projects including applications for security and manufacturing industries.
Without compromising our strict recruitment criteria we grew our development and support teams to meet demand too. In 2006 alone the development team doubled in size again and we saw a similar increase in the number of projects undertaken.
2007 brought us new customers and large contracts in the finance and transportation industries. As a result Future Processing's team grew to over 50 engineers. Our focus remained on Microsoft technologies, which led to achieving Microsoft Certified Partner status.
New UK clients in 2008 enabled us to build a strong position in the insurance software market. We grew the development team to over 80 people and opened a new state-of-the art Development Centre in Gliwice, Southern Poland. We also achieved ISO 9001: 2000 certification.
In early 2009 we became a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner. Despite the recession, strong growth in the UK led to increased team growth and by the end of the year we employed 120 developers. As well as sponsoring an IT Academic Day conference at the Silesian University of Technology and the University's participation in the ACM Programming Contest, we also jointly organized the first Polish 24-hour programming marathon.
The start of 2010 has proved to be equally busy with new contracts and hires.
