Future Processing turned out to be a good match and our expertise in designing enterprise-level applications on Microsoft .NET platform ensured smooth cooperation between both on-shore and off-shore development teams.
InCharge Debt Solutions is a non-profit organisation providing credit counselling, debt management education, alternatives to debt consolidation and resources to help those with too much debt regain financial health. At the heart of the company there is an IT system that reflects its main business processes. The company provides call-centre counselling service however it has also initiated a move toward offering a web-based self-service alternative that required significant development effort.
Future Processing has assisted with development and maintenance of debt management software including modules representing the internal business processes as well as a self-service module. One of the major challenges faced by our team was achieving a good understanding of the multilayer software architecture. Although the communication and work organisation across two continents required discipline at both ends we have managed to shorten the learning-curve period to just a few weeks. This was crucial for the overall development speed and meeting the project deadlines.
The software was developed in ASP.NET 2.0 and was utilising SQL Server 2005 database.
The cooperation between InCharge and Future Processing development teams resulted in a much shorter time to market and gave the customer more flexibility in resource allocation. Thanks to good communication the time-zone difference was never a problem.
