Easy access to your schedule
Thanks to the app you can display your appointments from the Exchange calendar up to 7 days ahead. The app can also send push notifications about meetings, so you always remember where you should be in the next 15 minutes and you are never late.
The application also allows employees to quickly display their coworkers’ calendars.
No more wandering to find a free room, since scheduling meetings just got easier. Thanks to location awareness, the application automatically adds current, approximate location, which is used when looking for a free meeting room nearby, or while reporting a problem.
Use of Wi-Fi routers
Thanks to access to WI-FI routers the app helps to determine your approximate location at an instant and displays it on the screen of a mobile device.
This can prove invaluable when new people come in, or during Clients’ visits – as people walk through a building, their device provide directions, so they know where they are.
Apart from Wi-Fi routers, localisation can also be based on proximity beacons.
Convenient reporting of issues
The app comes in handy when, you want to report issues on the go, e.g. a broken meeting room printer.
Once the issue is reported, the app automatically sends an email to the relevant department, so they know what the problem is and where it is.
We can also add premade templates for the most popular issues and requests.
Effective use of conference rooms
Thanks to this functionality you are given a chance to, among others: find the nearest available conference room based on your approximate location or based on current information about room reservations.
You can easily search for a free meeting room, display its calendar, book, extend, shorten or cancel a meeting.
Company data always at hand
Employees can quickly access relevant information, such as company address or VAT number.
During the business trip, the app can serve as an electronic business card that contains a minimum set of billing details about the company. Also, it can offer access to information through other applications installed on the device, e.g. text, email, etc.
Microsoft Exchange e-mail service
The app is dedicated for enterprises using Microsoft Solutions. If you use Microsoft Exchange on a daily basis, the app will definitely make your work easier.
Conference rooms included in the system
The possibility of booking rooms thanks to the application depends on whether the rooms have their own calendars, available in Microsoft Outlook.
Having dedicated people to send issue reports to
In order for the full functionality to work, your company needs to have specific individuals, such as a maintenance technician, or an administrator, to whom issues can be reported.
Mail server based on Exchange architecture
- Access to the configuration of Exchange Server, among others, EWS throttling settings
- Microsoft Exchange Server 2007
- Microsoft Exchange Server 2010
- Microsoft Exchange Server 2013
- Online Exchange / Office 365
It is required to have a server, supporting the mobile application, that mediates communication with the mail server.
Possible configurations of the environment:
- Server placed in the cloud (e.g. Amazon Web Services)
- Mail server available from outside of corporate network, so that the backend can communicate with it
- Server placed on-premises
- Mail server doesn’t have to be available outside
- Only the backend must be configured, to allow access from outside of corporate network (the Internet)
- The latter will ensure application performance to employees outside the offices (corporate network), so when their phones operate on 3G, or other WiFi, e.g. at home.
