While it is only children that write to Father Christmas – I know I stopped before I was 10 – they are not the only ones who have Christmas wish lists. We all have things that we want, even if we don’t admit to them.

So what does an offshore development outsourcer want for Christmas? Top of the list is probably to retain a dedicated and highly skilled workforce.  Quality assurance, state of the art facilities and technologies, customer loyalty are all also up there. Most offshore developers will already have these things in place to some degree. That degree depends on their competence. They remain on the Christmas wish-list because perfection in these areas is what every good outsourcer is striving for. The countdown to Christmas has begun.
