It seems years ago that I first conceived of the idea of a new campus-style office for Future Processing in what was derelict old mine-land. In fact it was years ago. But over time things have taken shape – perhaps not as fast as I would have liked – but with so many bureaucrats, involved, we couldn’t expect anything else.
The Harvey Nash Group published the results of its annual CIO survey a couple of weeks ago. There were two themes that caught my eye.
Hooray, hooray, hooray. Future Processing has attained Microsoft Gold Partner status in the Independent Software Vendor category. So what!? Well actually, so a lot. Gold Partner awards can act as a real guide to companies trying to choose the best outsourcing partner for them. Only the top one per cent of partners world-wide ever achieve Gold Partner status.
A cliché, but certainly a true one: where has this year gone? Where indeed… 2011 is the year that Future Processing was recognised by Deloitte as the fastest growing software company in Poland in its Fast 50 ranking. With 664% growth, we have certainly been busy. We launched a new ideas, technology and business development facility – FP Lab – which has already undertaken its first project.
